This Teak slab originates from the forests of Costa Rica in Central America, and has superb stability, good strength properties, and outstanding resistance to decay. Heartwood tends to be a golden or medium brown, with color darkening with age. Grain is primarily straight, with some occasional wavy patterns and the surface has a low natural luster.
