White oak is one of the most resilient hardwoods and is known for its pronounced straight grain, distinct ray flecks, and beautiful light color. Its color can range from a pale yellowish-white to a medium golden brown with darker brown growth rings. Color can sometimes have a grey, olive, or subtle golden cast. White oak is easy to mill, glue and stain, and takes on an amazing look with a clear finish.
